Singer Surrealism

Every year I try to attend the Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival. It usually falls during the later half of April. Weather can be a factor but there’s usually one day that’s perfect. I have a few favorite returning artists I like to visit, but I was glad to discover a new favorite this year.

The paintings of Phill Singer.

Biome by Singer. My giclee’ purchase from Singer’s booth.
It was the many animal themed paintings that caught my eye. I like the pleasantly surreal nature of his work. Sometimes surrealist work can be creepy and dark. Singers work is engaging and dreamy. It’s fun. And the level of skill is enviable.

Take a look through his work when you have some time.
